Zero-Carbon Expansion Units

Zero-Carbon Expansion Unit · 40 ft

The largest expansion unit — folds for container transport and opens on site to 74.3 m², about 12 m in length.

74.3
The Zero-Carbon Expansion Unit · 40 ft is the largest of the family: folded to standard container dimensions for transport, it is pulled out on site and expands accordion-style into 74.3 m² of finished floor area at a length of about 12 m — the upper end of flexible expansion from a compact 10 ft (about 3 m); the 20 ft (37.17 m²) and 30 ft (56.34 m²) units are the smaller sizes. Like the 20 ft and 30 ft units it is built from a thick-walled steel main structure with a metal carved panel exterior, graphite EPS and bamboo-wood fibre composite panels, heat-insulating aluminum profiles carrying double-layer tempered Low-E glass, SPC stone plastic flooring, a smart entrance door and aluminum-wood composite doors. The standard fit-out — whole-house smart lighting, light-blocking curtains, central air conditioning, 40 L / 60 L water heater, smart toilet with vanity and shower set, full-area graphene underfloor heating — is the same as the smaller units, with refrigerator, washing machine and range hood optional. Site installation follows the sequence flat-pack, roof, floor, wall panels, expansion, complete. Because the structure folds, it moves at the freight cost of a standard container and can be relocated when the project ends.
