The Xifuhe Green & Low-Carbon Science Park in Yancheng is a zero-carbon park in which photovoltaics are built into the public realm rather than parked on rooftops. Our Jiangsu base delivered five BIPV systems there, totalling 264 kW and generating about 262,000 kWh a year, avoiding around 261.2 t of CO2 annually. The systems are: a 60 kW photovoltaic walkway, 518 m long with 1,104 modules, generating about 50,000 kWh a year (49.85 t CO2); a 56 kW floating BIPV installation on water, 141 m long, about 70,000 kWh a year (69.79 t); 90 kW of BIPV on eleven evacuation stairwells covering 600 m², about 80,000 kWh a year (79.76 t); a 16 kW zero-carbon hydrogen mobility station, about 16,000 kWh a year (15.95 t); and four zero-carbon e-bike charging stations totalling 42 kW, about 46,000 kWh a year (45.86 t). The park's building-integrated PV works comprise a PV walkway, curtain wall and related structures.
