The largest of our solar carports: 648 kW of building-integrated PV forming the roof of the Jianhu County Government car park. The canopy carries 1,200 modules at 540 W each and generates about 712,800 kWh a year, avoiding around 710.7 t of CO2 annually. In a BIPV carport the module is the roof — it shades the vehicles beneath and sheds rain — so the structure generates without a separate roofing layer. The same design is repeated across our Jianhu carport series for the People's Hospital, the Science & Innovation Tower and the Finance Bureau. Designed, manufactured and installed by our Jiangsu BIPV base in Jianhu, Yancheng.
