Qatar seaside B&B — capsule resort

An application project from our Qatar programme for coastal hospitality: a seaside bed-and-breakfast composed of zero-carbon capsules placed along the beach, with an arched central building and palms between the units. Each guest unit is a factory-finished capsule — from the S-series or the Qatar edition — with building-integrated PV and a battery bank, so the accommodation runs without a grid connection; the Qatar-edition capsule held about 26 °C indoors in 50 °C testing. Units arrive by truck, are placed by hoisting or rapid assembly on prepared ground and can be added in phases as occupancy grows, or moved if the site changes. Configuration, photovoltaic capacity and storage are specified per site.
