A 2,430 kW rooftop PV system on the Jianhu 5D Smart Manufacturing Valley, an industrial park in Jianhu county, Yancheng: 4,500 modules of 540 Wp mounted over the park's roofs, generating about 2,673,000 kWh a year and avoiding around 2,665 t of CO2 annually. The system is building-applied (BAPV): the modules sit on mounting systems above the existing roofs rather than replacing the roof covering. For manufacturing parks it is a direct route to on-site generation, since the roofs are already there. Our industrial and commercial solution adds 200 kWh+ of storage to arrays of this kind to hold surplus daytime power for peak demand or an outage. Among the rooftop (BAPV) systems in our project list with a published capacity it is the largest in Jianhu county. Delivered by our Jiangsu base in Jianhu, Yancheng, which covers PV system design, construction and O&M.
