A 1,115.64 kW rooftop PV system for the Jianhu County Water Company, generating about 1,227,000 kWh a year and avoiding around 900 t of CO2 annually.
Water treatment and pumping run around the clock, so a utility site has a steady base load that daytime PV offsets directly. The system is building-applied (BAPV), mounted on the company's existing roofs. It is one of several utility installations in our Jiangsu project list, which also includes the Shanggang water company, the Chengnan, Chengbei, Shanggang and Jiulongkou wastewater treatment plants and a series of power-supply stations and substations.
