The Chuanchang River Station at Shanggang is a small riverside public building in which the photovoltaics are the railings and the curtain wall: 22.49 kW of BIPV generating about 24,700 kWh a year and avoiding around 24.7 t of CO2 annually. It shows the BIPV approach at its smallest scale — a wayside station whose balustrades and glazed wall generate its own electricity without a visible panel array — and it is one of our four BIPV reference projects, alongside the Financial Tower, the Xifuhe park and the Gaozuo agriculture centre. Delivered by our Jiangsu BIPV base in Jianhu, Yancheng.
